port broke
the port where you put cameras, printers etcc has broken.. becuz my laptop fell on the floor with the plugs in.. is theree anyway to fix it? Can it be repaired?? =(

Most things can be repaired ,but Laptops usually are best done by the manufacturer or a reputable service depot. Check the terms of your warranty somecompanies offer some damage coverage. |

It sounds like you might be talking about your USB port. It might be cheaper for you to buy a PCMCIA USB(1.1 or 2.0) card instead of the repair.

LNC... has a point .Just make sure you don't have any loose parts or broken twisted metal causing shorts etc.
Better yet, go into device manager and uninstall the broken ports.Same in bios if you have that option. |
