Need help with asus a7n8x-e Deluxe

Hello,

I buy a asus a7n8x-e Deluxe and one Seagate 200Gb hardisk.
I donīt want make RAID, just use the ATA controler.
I alredy install the windows xp, but i connect the old 80 GB IDE ATA-133 Maxtor and the mainboard try to boot from the IDE ATA-133 Maxtor .
I want to boot from the Sata drive , just use the Maxtor disk to pit some backupīs!
What iīm doing wrong.

Help me please.

I am sure you checked the boot device order in Bios setup.

Hi everybody,

Thanks for the help. I already solve the problem, i try what you write, but the problem was other!
Explain:
The ATA disk had the XP operation system and kill it! and now itīs working fine.
