Error starting 3dmark5

I get this error when I try to run a test on 3dmark5:

IDirect3DDevice9::Create Pixel Shader failed: Invalid call (D3DERR_INVALIDCALL)

I have a geforce 2 mx/mx 400. I have the newest drivers dowloaded: 66.93
I still have the old drivers on the harddrive: 61.77

What the heck is the message all about?
Should I revert to the old drivers or this even part of the problem?

3Dmark2005 needs a DirectX 9 capable card, not just DirectX 9 compatible. Your GF2MX is only capable of using DirectX 7 functions, it does not have pixel &/or vertex shaders.

Nevermind. Thanks though. I downloaded 3dmark3. I think that should do it. I just don't run game tests 2,3, & 4.

Sorry abouth the double post. I wasn't sure I was in the right forum.

Actually still incorrect as I had to download 3dmark 2001. The only one that is still made that supports nothing more than directx 7.1
