Sims 2 Sudden Blue Spot of Death
Seems like there is a number of problems occuring relating to Sims 2, unable to find a specific answer or guiding light to..... Sudden freezing of game, happens only when any sim achieves a skill point, at that point small blue spot appears above sim and game freezes. This forces a reset and has rendered the game unplayable. Anyone have an answer or can offer a suggestion of what might be at fault. Game plays fine as long as I don't get the sims to aspire or achieve anything...... which is kinda pointless. PC is Shuttle X box, FX31, AMD 1800, 1Gb DDR PC2100, ATI 9000 Pro 128, everything updated including XP, except video drivers (files too big for measly dial up!)..... :giddy:

You should download the latest drivers for your graphics card if it takes a while well so be it.

i also have this problem
I have the same problem. I have the newest drivers for my mobility radeon 9000 video card.
