Hi,
just went and bought the Radeon 9600TX for my computer. Did all the usual stuff. Uninstalling current drivers etc before installing the new card.

Downloaded the latest drivers and system control from ATI.

I get the following error message when opening the system control "the currently used open gl driver does not support the required extensions to run the 3d preview".

Also when trying to load Doom3 i get the following error message " The current video card / driver combination does not support the necessary features".

I cant for the life of me figure whats up. :hotbounce

Are you using the drivers that came with the video card? They are usually out of date. Go to ATI's site and get the latest Catalyst 4.11 drivers.
