CPU OVERCLOCKING ( I'm at a complete loss here )

RIIIIHIHIHIGT.
I'v been a fool and bought a cpu fan ( thankfully, it wasn't to expensive ) for the purpose to overclock my cpu. Now this is when I run into a bit of a pickle, I have no idea how o overclock my cpu! First of all I know nothing of overclocking so if any one could tell me a little bit about overclocking I would be thankfull for that. Second of all I don't even know if my cpu/motherboard combination CAN be overclocked. Here are my specs: ( according to AIDIA32 )
--------------------------------------------
My Computer: Standard built by Compaq
Brand Name : Compaq Presario 6195EA ( ANCIENT )
MotherBoard : Compaq Presario 6195EA
CPU Name : Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.20Ghz
CPU Alias : Northwood. A80523
--------------------------------------------

Now, I don't really know what any of this means( ), so any help would be most appreciated.

I hate to tell you but most manufacturers clock lock their motherboards so you cant overclock. With some you cant even upgrade the processor. I think the only thing you can do is go to the Compaq website in the Support section and see if your motherboard can be upgraded with a faster processor. More RAM helps alot too.
