Error messages gallore installing xp on new computer
Ok, i've never had problems like this before. I'm trying to install XP Pro on a new machine I just built...
DFI Infinity 865PE - mobo 80 gb SATA Hitachi Deskstar dual 512mb kingston ddr400 p4 2.8 800fsb Geforce 6800 gt It took a while to figure out how to get windows to recognize the hd, but i finally figured out the whole F6 third party thing, and i can format the drive no problem, but when it copies over the files then goes into the actual installation part I get all sorts of errors. I've had IRQL_not_less_or_equal, I've had it just randomly reboot, and I've had it just tell me it can't find a file on the disc and I just have to browse for it... i've been at this for about 5 hours and can't get anywhere! Help me please!

Run a memory test. Run HD diagnostics. Unplug and reseat everything.
