Q Fan Feature

Hello all,

I bought an Asus laptop X54H series and would like to know what is exactly the Q Fan Feature and how does it work to cool down the laptop?
 
If you're not having any problems now I would just leave it as is. But if you think the fan is too loud you could give it a try and see how it works for you.
 
Yep. Sounds like it just reduces the noise. When the comp gets warm it cranks up the fan rpm and cools it.
