Multimedia Audio Controller with Windows 2000
My system has been Windows 98 and everything worked fine. I installed Windows 2000. I have no sound. The Multimedia Audo Controller has a yellow question mark. I have attempted to find and download a driver to update the system without success. Does anyone have an address or suggestion? NOTE: I have loaded all of the Windows Updates

What motherboard do you have? Are you using a sound card? You need to get the audio driver from the component manufacturer.

Multimedia Audio Controller with Windows 2000
Problem solved. I was too lazy to open the PC and look at my system set-up and I could not remember the Sound Card. The answers are: I have an Intel Mother board with a Sound Blaster SB0100 PWA. That website for Sound Blaster has a link for 5.1 and that has two options. The second option is for the full driver and configuration. It is 23.5MB. That did the trick.
