Hi Guys...”First of all i have to excuse me for my bad English”. I am just finish with my new AMD Athlon computer that i have build from scratch, but i can´t get this computer to start and showing anything on my monitor at all, i dont know if it is because i have try to installing this older video card from my other computer or what the problem can be. My video card is a Ms-StarForce Geforce 4 Ti 4200 128MB DDR SDRAM AGP TV-Out DVI Retail this card works with no problem on my older computer (which have an MSI K7T Turbo motherboard socket A ) When i try to use this card from my older computer an put this in my new computer then i can`t get this new computer to show anything at all on my monitor, only “invalid sync” is coming up on the screen. I don´t know if the voltage on this videocard are wrong (3.3v) or what the problem can be, this new Motherboard:MSI K8T Neo2-Fir are supporting only 1.5v. The videocard does fit on this newer AGP slot (AGP 3.0) but can it be that this card is to old? This video card is about 3 years old and perhaps running on 3.3volt, i don´t know about that? can any who knows about this problem help me solving this main problem? Do i have to buy a new videocard before this motherboard vill accept it? Hope you understand my problem and what i have try to explain to you. Reseting the cmos or removing the battery doesn’t solving this problem it must be wrong voltage on the video card i think? I am sure that many user`s have the same problem.The onboard Diagnostic Leds (D-Bracket) displays that there are an video card problem and nr 1,2.3 leds are flashing up on the back of the case.

This motherboard doesnt function with my 3 years old video card.

I can say that this video card works great with my older computer, but not with this brand new computer system. I understand that there are many kinde of AGP slots and i wondering if i have this Universal AGP slot with 2 keys and 2 kinde of voltage, 3.3v and 1.5v? My motherboard are only supporting 1.5v and there is an AGP 3.0 slot on this motherboard with only 1 key. Many thank´s if any clever person can help me with this problem.

I have a MSI K8T-Neo2 and had a similar problem with my video. I tried all sorts of video setting with the AGP, fastwrite, apature size, etc.

One thing I noticed was if I turned on my computer, then immediately hit the reset switch, the display would work fine.

Since I'm also having some issues with my video card, I didn't figure it out until I put my old card in and it did the same thing.

What I did:
Under the power management (PM), I put PM in set it to S3/STR, and enabled the "Call VGA BIOS at S3 Resuming" option. I also had to set "Wake Up by PS/2 Mouse" to "S3/S4/S5".

I'm not saying this will work for you, but when I boot the computer, I get my display.
