How to backup Outlook 2003 profile and restore it into another computer?
Hi there,
I need to backup Outlook 2003 profile and restore it into another computer but I don't have a clue how to do this. Anyone knows how this can be achieved? Regards, SONG WS |

Hi, I just did the same thing with Outlook 2002. Locate the .pst file. Usually it's located in this folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook (change [username] to your user id. Copy this to the new computer. You will still need to recreate your email account settings. Hope this helps. |

I think he is asking about the profile, i.e. settings, not the contents, i.e. the PST file.

Gunny is right. I am talking about the settings in the profile not the emails.
