Hello there.

I have a samsung CD rom and a sony CD writer.
They work well when either of them is connected to the system.
But when both of them are connected together, only CD ROM works.
Please tell me how should I make them work together.

It sounds to me like they are both tyring to be the master drive on the cable. I would take one of them out, probably the CD rom and make it a slave, and have the CD burner be your master drive on that ribbon. If you are unsure of how to do this post back and we'll try to explain it a little clearer.

They do not have jumpers at their back.

How to make master or slave ?
