Can't install DirectX 9.0 !!!! :(
Howdy y'all,
I'm having trouble installing Dx9. I have Win XP, and SP2, and yes, I know SP2 installs Dx9, but I replaced Dx 9 with Dx 8.1 because my games dont like 9, but work perfectly on 8.1. But now..... I want Dx9 back. Is there any way I can do this short of re-installing win?? Just to let you know what I've tried so far (none of these have worked, obviously): 1. Install DirectX 9.0 from the MS site 2. Install SP2 3. Install DirectX 9.0 off game CD Any help is appreciated, Thanks. |

I get the same thing, now
My setup was fine for the last 2 or 3 months for world of warcraft till just the other day when I eradicated some viruses giving me unrelated problems. Now I get the exact same message you do about no DirectX or video drivers out of date. I went and reloaded my drivers, now I'm trying to figure out how to reload DX9.0c..... annoying.
