I currently installed warcraft 3 and the expansion pack onto my pc.

My flatmate and i have our pc's networked through XP. However we can't seem to get LAN games running on WC3?..... any ideas our network is running and working fine

u allow port forwarding on port 6112 tcp or sumtin like that, check on the war3 website under the support section and look at sumthing for not being able to host games. if this is the problem then u have to use port forwarding on ur router firewall and ur computer's firewall.

you might want to check if both are patched to the same version, you can patch easily by selecting "battle.net" in the main menu.

However, I must admit, I did the same thing myself when I first joined Techspot, until it was pointed out to me by one of the mods lol.
