where have all the GB's gone?

My computer has a capacity of 80GB yet they are all full. I have music, microsoft word, pictures and that's about it. I have no where near 80 GB's of stuff on my computer, where is all this going to and how can i get rid of it?

do you know how to check the partitions on your hard drive? if so make sure you partitioned off all of the space....if not use a windows 98 boot up floppy and run fdisk...if you dont know how to then say so...if you do then i wont have to type it all

i doubt its a virus ive never heard of a virus doing anything like that but you never know what they come out with
