My card has S-Video and I was wondering what the downsides are to hooking it up to my TV. Is the quality lower? Is there any lag when playing games? Oh, and I tried to connect it to my TV, though my comp is completely empty (no OS yet) and the screen shakes very rapidly. Anyone know if that's normal considering I have nothing on my harddrive yet or is the S-Video supposed to work straight out of the box?

i have a 27 inch flat screen and the resolution only goes up to 1024 x 768. the way the picture is distorts the text so i have to turn the brightness down. it is very good for games and movies though. no lag. you just have to set it up right.
