Limewire running slow and Internet explorer downloads are fast?

Hi

ive been using limewire for agessss, now the download speeds are really slow all of a sudden its been like it for a week now? like 4-6kb/s i get 140kb/s in my browser downloads :S anyone know i have norton internet security running permit all on the firewall settings, i have done virus and spyware scans etc ???

System specs
It could be something as simple as there was a setting in limewire changed to limit your speeds. Especially since you are seeing fast speeds elsewhere. It could also be that the other users have limited their speeds. You can also try reinstalling limewire if you think that might help.

ahh this is annoying

every download is running at 4kb/s tried reinstall, gotta be a limit in the program ive checked the options or my firewall???

help?
