I'm actually trying to clone a software raid 5 array in this scenario

My three primary machines have 9, 7 and 6 hard drives in them.

What's the size of that PSU - or is there another one there that I can't see?

I think you should rename the machine to ODB. It's a beast.

Tera byte

You have quite a selection of HDDs there SoulHarvester... SATA, PATA, and several SCSI... wow, the SCSI drives must have set you back quite a bit... maybe backup your data and get some bigger SATA drives with 16MB cache?

Per dollar spent, SATA is definately giving the SCSI performance a run for its money...

Where do you see SCSI drives? There are none in that machine. I do have 4 x 10,000 RPM U320 SCSI Cheetahs.
