Upgrading ultra ATA
Would I be able to upgrade my ultra ATA to serial ATA? If so, please, tell me how to do it.

No, you cannot replace your existing ATA controller since most likely it is embedded into the chipset and you'd have to replace the whole motheboard.
Yes, you can buy a separate SATA controller and plug it into a PCI slot. It will work alongside your existing ATA. |
