That always happens with website redesigns, at first instance there will be people that love the new site or hate it but it's usually only in the long term that you can draw good conclusions whether the move was an effective one or not. Give it sometime and try getting used to it, the good thing is that they have kept most stuff where it belongs so all the functionality I love from newegg is still there.

It's not all that different form the old site.
