post a detailed description of the problem and your computer. no one here can help you much by reading what you've said thus far.

I agree entirely with zephead, that there isn`t enough information in your post.

Go and read this, then enter your system specs in user profile at the top of any page(click on edit profile).

Also some background info as to when this problem first started etc would help.

Ditto on the CMOS battery. Very common side effect of this problem. The battery can be replaced and luckily most retail stores carry these batteries.
 
Woah! Hold on a minute with the BIOS battery replacement! Put the screwdriver down, and back away slowly please!

Before you go replacing anything, go into the BIOS and save settings. Does that make the message go away?
 
cpu

As a computer novice i need help please.
When i start the computer a message says that i have changed my cpu which i have not.the computer is 4 years old with a winfast K7 motherboard.
