My Lite-on DVDRW LDW -451S

My DVDDRW recognized a CD.. will write to it.. BUT will not recognize to either play OR record a DVD
I am running Windows 2000 and the software I have is Sonic MyDVD and also the CyberLink PwerDVD

i succeeded with y2k and failed with xin xp

i do have the same problem, but burning a cd is possible
I am running Windows 2000 and the software I have is Sonic MyDVD and also the CyberLink PwerDVD

i am running win xp and it does not work, using y2k all is fine. i think the problems started by reusing the dvd drive in another system, where the os is already installed. i just changed the drives. and updated the firmware and the driver.
