802.11G wireless PCMCIA card

Hi

I have an older laptop. I am afraid the PC card slot is only 16 bit.

I am upgrading my network form 802.11b to 802.11 g.

Has anybody ever heard of a 802.11 g PCMCIA wireless adapter that is only 16 bit?
(I know this is highly unlikely but just thought I would ask

there are different types of pcmcia slots (I,II,III,IV i believe) but they are all 32-bit interfaces.

A 16-bit PCMCIA wireless G adapter would be rather pointless since the throughput of the 16-bit PCMCIA is only 20Mbit/s whereas your G network has the theoretical speed of 54Mbit/s.
