Built New Computer; Theres no Visuals!
im running a geforce fx 5200, and its not bringing me anywhere. The computer boots, the fans run, i dont hear any sounds because my case doesnt have a built in speaker, but nothing shows up on the screen. It isnt a bad monitor because i tested it. it may be the geforce fx 5200, but i dont want to switch graphics cards just yet. ... oh yes,, its in an AGP Slot

First up is everything new?
secondly i have had this problem alot. Did you take anti static cautions like not installing your comp on carpet ETC?, did you put the motherboard risers in the right place if not it will cause a short and the screen wont turn on at all. Is your power supply a good one not generic ? If all else fails "your motherboard has fried" :hotouch: hope this helps
