i have two hdd of at least 200GB when i go to format them win XP only registers 128GB?

Hello and welcome to Techspot.
You need at least Windows XP sp1 or higher in order for Windows to recognise the correct size of you hard drive.
One way around this is to slipstream your Windows XP cd, and the XP sp2 into a bootable cd.

& you must also enable 48-bit LBA which is disabled by default (don't ask why).
