Entertainment Industry and Politics

Go here:

http://www.pcworld.com/features/arti...,104699,00.asp

and then go to Page 3: "Following the Money Trail". Be warned; it may induce vomiting.

And on the page "Hollywood vs. Your PC" you can read about how Intel's Pentium "LaGrande" can work with DRM and Microsoft.

Can it be that also the Computer Industry is turning their back to consumers? Will privacy be a thing of the past?

Don't tell me that there will come a time when old computers are more valuable than new ones!!

And now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go and vomit some more.

American Politics suck big time...

The whole american government is all about back-handers...

Sorry, if i've infended anyone american, i don't mean to.
Its just that the people at the top suppossed to be ruling the world towards better living and times, don't.. All there worried about is their fat wallets...

What hope has Human Civilisation got...

Is that really true today that it's not legal to make copies for personal use of "copy-protected" CDs? That's conflicting with some other laws.

The one I think is really the most insane is the P2P bill ( http://www.house.gov/berman/p2p.pdf ) which allows copyright holders to use DDOS attacks on P2P file sharing networks legally. Essentially its legalising hacking, but only if you have a US politician in your pocket....

Locked up in my pen in the middle of nowhere.

The entire world has been consumed by greed since the beginning of humanity.

That's really what I meant
