Need opinions on planned build

I've been given the impossible task.

I have to build for a friend a system thats faster than the PC I have in my specs (as it used to be - whe it had 512 meg of RAM), for the lowest possible price, while making it able to last for the next 5 years or so (My friend has 1 slow PC, and one from out of the arc! - It's guarenteed that it'll be used untill it's COMPLETElY obselete.). It also needs to be reasonably upgradeable.

She's not expecting miracles, and so with that in mind, please could you give your thoughts on the following....

Mobo - Jetway SKT-939 939AGP S/L SATA 1000FSB - mobo
CPU - AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 512KB SKT939 Retail - cpu
RAM - ADATA 256MB DDR400 CL3.0 08 Chip (x2) - memory
HDD - Western Digital Serial 80GB UDMA 150 7200Rpm 8Mb - HDD
Graphics - Xpertvision 256Mb Radeon 9550 DDR TV/DVI 8x - graphics
CD/DVD - Pioneer 109 DVD
Case - Thermaltake sviking va4000bws black - case

...and of course a floppy disk drive.

You may have noticed that all this is coming from the same shop. It's easier, and everything is being bought in person, in cash. lol

Anyways, the sum total comes to about £340, and I have about £390 to budget with.

Any suggestions/comments?

System specs
i'd have gone with the msi k8n neo2 motherboard, on account of it's features/performance and price.

I'd think this memory will serve you a little bit better, with its lower latency.

This one if you don't mind going to another brand...
