ive heard the microsoft learned how to detect it and they can even ban ur ip address so i take that back dont try(forgot about that)

You can still play lan with something like XBConnect, I dunno if YOU can but my friend and I did on his modded Xbox.

yea serial link works fine .... but you know setting up TV's hooking up cables and stuff it gets pretty messy lol...

is there any way i can like go online without losing my subscription

I think it goes beyond banning your IP address. I think they ban your serial number or something like that from the service

will xbox live download anything on my modded xbox...thus causing my modded xbox to stop working or something ??

u can go on xbox live but u have to buy a switch for ur xbox witch cuts the hd off
