HEy GUYS ..first POST ..NEED help ..Computer doing a odd thing!!

Hey all ..Im on my buddies computer.
Here's the story ..

My brothers PC burnt up (fan went out etc.) I let him use my PC .
It has Windows Xp Pentium 3 ..

anyways here's what it does.

I turn it on ,
It goes to the Blue screen for me to click on my name and Start my settings..
then it goes to my desktop ,then...

It says something like error "wildtangent.something .something " ..
then it says a 400dll error ..

it dosnt even give me time to read the errors(so I can write them down) before it shuts down and restarts ..it goes back to the bluescreen ..then I click it and it does the same FNthing..
can anyone help with this ??

thanx in anvanced guys

Can you boot up in "safe mode"? (press f8 while booting up).

Did a quick google on 400dll errors, and it looks like it is probably a software problem. Assuming you can get into safe mode, right click on "my computer" then chose "management" and start up the event viewer. Look around in there for the error reports to see what is causing your crash.

Probably looks like this.

Error Loading
C:\ProgramFiles\WildTangent\Apps\CDA\cdaEngine0400.dll
The specified module could not be found.

The wild tangent software is notorious for installing spyware.

Here is more information.
Go to the following website for more information.

You may need to perform the following in Safe Mode.

Uninstall procedure: WildTangent

Here are a couple of programs that can help keep you free of most spyware.

AdAware
