Help Computer Drive Failed !!! Beeping Noise Heard

whaddup ,
i got my computer back from my recent shipment from japan . im now in virginia . well when it got over here i was hoping to hop right on it , but nondaless i plug it in and dis 5 second loud beeping sound came on . montior saids no response nothing comes on da monitor . i try again same thing . wake up da next day same exact thing . so i figure it was da hard drive . took it out beeping noise stop . i assume it is da hard drive and i wanted to know what happened to it . it crashed , failed , corrupted. i at least hope all my information is on da drive i didnt back up nothing on it . if it wont work anymore ill send it to a professional to help revive it and get stuff i need off it . i had loads of important music stuff on it to make my music and stuff like dat . please help me out here its been since august 17 . its is now august 23 , well if u can help please post some comments below . thank you very much 100

by da way it is a western digital hard drive 120 GB ! if thatll help any .

actually da beeping noise is still heard when i took my hard drive out , so im guessin it must be da graphic card now .

If you know what bios you are running(your mobo manual will tell you), you might want to take a look at this Beep code list..

Also is your psu still set to run on the japanese voltage?

Japan has a mains voltage of 100v whereas the USA uses 120v.

If your psu doesent have a voltage regulator you can change, then maybe a new psu is in order.
