Screencap with PowerDVD 5.0

Everytime I try to take caps of videos with powerdvd, my files are 2,25 MB each. I know that ain´t right, because i´ve seen people screencaping with pdvd files 1024x768 with 40KB.

Help me please!!!!!
 
The resulting image file size depends on the format used. Try saving to JPG or PNG instead of BMP.
 
Getting JPG and PNG images of the same size is not possible since the compession algorithms are very different. You are doing somethinbg wrong.

Open one of those screencaps in Paint, then choose Save As and select JPG as the target format.
