After 4 agonising years of 56k dial up our small british hamlet is getting broadband, the last exchange in our entire county to get it. Only problem is I've run into a few problems. I am pretty much set on going for BT broadband except we are currently using NTL even though our village is without cable?!?! Is cable only required for ntl if you want broadband? Anywho, I want this standard BT Broadband offer for £24.99/month but was wondering if I will need to exchange my entire ntl phoneline for a BT one or if I can just change my ntlfreedom dialup setup and have BT broadband and an ntl phoneline? Also for those of you who may new, is the modem/router which comes with BT Broadband a simple 2-ethernet port one or does it have 4 ports?
