Yes, that's right. From today Opera is free of charge with no banner/ads.

You can download the browser from here and read more about Opera (and why it's now free) here.

And just to list some of the features included:
  • mouse gestures
  • pop-up blocking
  • spell checking
  • Voice browsing (just talk to your browser)
  • Text to speech (don't strain your eyes, listen to the text instead)
  • integrated google search (and the ability to integrate any other search engine)
  • translation of pages
