Multiple sata drives

I just built a new pc and install 2 sata hard drives on a gigabyte board. I can only see one of the drives in my computer. I am not planing on raiding the drives together. I dont know if there is somthing in the bios that is set to do it automaticaly. I looked around but couldnt find anything that helps.

if the drive hasnt been formatted it often wont show up in my computer. does it show up in administrative tools\computer management\disk management? if it does you can format it there and it should then show up in my computer.
