Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet installed, but says "Network cable unplugged."
Hello Everyone,
I use Gigabit motherboard (Ga-8IPE1000 Pro -G). Today Windows 2000 displayed me that "Network card cable is unplugged." I use the onboard network card (Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T). The network card works perfectly fine if I reboot the machine into linux, but does not work in Windows 2000. The network card worked fine under Windows 2000 until yesterday. I reinstalled the network card drivers, but no result. TCP/IP is enabled so is the network card. ipconfig /all tells that the cable is unplugged, but I know it is not. Any ideas would be very appreciated, because I am at a loss. |

In device manager, play around with the link speed setting. Try 10/100 autonegotiation instead of the 1000 autoneg or force the speed to be 100Mbit full duplex.
And throw a brick on my behalf towards Marvell. I am yet to see a gigabit card managing its link speeds properly
