Unable to install window on sata harddrive

I'm currently building a system and the bios nor windows install can recognize the Sata Harddrive, My motherboard is a gigabyte GA-K8U 754 Uli and the harddrive is a Western Digital Caviar 80GB Sata. I've read that you might would need to load some third party drivers on a floppy disk, but I can't find the ones for this board, any help would be much appreciated. THanks.

System specs
The drivers are on the motherboard driver CD which should have come with the motherboard. You have to make a SATA controller driver floppy by following the instructions in the Configuring SATA Hard Drives Manual. This manual is separate from the main motherboard manual. If you don't have one you can download a pdf one from the Gigabyte site here: Configuring SATA Hard Drives Manual.

It also explains in detail how to install them.
