What is the Best PPPoE settings??

Hello there,

In the Broadband connection status - Activity
It says
I have about 490354 bytes send and 3,301,715 bytes receive.
But Compression is 0%
Errors 0%

How do I enable the Compression stuff. Will it make my Internet faster ??



What is the ideal setings of PPPoE ??
Should I enable LCP extensions ?
Should I enable Software Compression ?
Should I Negotiate multi link for single link connections ?
What is all this about ?

Thanks.
 
Why do you think the options are there? If there was a "best" setup they would make it the default, no? It all depends on your specific connection.
