Just curious as whether SETI, Folding or another program was Techspot's DC client of choice?

most of these DCs are on the new BOINC system at Berekely U. where the program will automatically flip over when another isn't working (server outage for example)

Personally I SETI only.

Had too much problems with BOINC in the beginning, so I'm still "old-skool" SETI

People still use these apps? I haven't crunched anything in over a year.

I am the same. BOINC doesn't work for me.
I wish they hadn't eliminated classic seti.

Sure why not use unused cycles on your computer..... it would go to waste otherwise.

Electricity bill might be one reason.

I quit running them on my home PCs, well it will run again on my K6-2 400 if I ever get around to hooking it up. Hasn't been hooked up since I moved. But I'm still running it on my machine at work. Classic Seti, not that BIONIC crap.

I run 'em on both (work and home) but the work computers are so flakey it often crashes.... the server sucks in our building.
