Unsure, need help

Okay, my computer in my family room is having a few problems.

I have an old MX 440 nvidia card laying around and my sister wants to play one of those seaworld tycoon games or something, idk what. It needs 32 mbs of video ram. The 440 has 64, which is sufficient. So I installed it on that computer and now I don't get a start menu... I installed the new NVIDIA drivers, its like 8.1.25 er something like that. Still no start menu. I remember having to install drivers to get the start menu on my current computer, and it fixed the problem, but now i'm not sure if its drivers or what. I don't get a start menu and I obviously cannot get the game to play for her. Please help anything is appreciated!

Any ideas. Is it the drivers? or something else...
