My WoW always crashes and restarts!?

Hi,
I have just started to play WoW again (used to play on computer).I have recently bought a new laptop and every time i play WoW from 10-15 mins my laptop screen goes black and u can here the sound in WoW crashing, then bout 10 secs after that it restarts. And when i open my WoW file (in program files) at the bottom of the files it says WowError, but when i try to open the WowError nothing will come up it just loads and then nothin comes up, its type exe and the size is 223KB. I think maybe it could have somethin 2 do with ma graphics card it is graphics media accelerator 950, im running windows vista.
Anybody know anythin please i really like WoW and i dont want to quit?
Thanks

power supply update

Well I ordered a Rosewill 850 watt power supply, when the thing came the shipping bill said 8 lbs. I t hought they had to be joking.. they werent. This thing is obviously far superior than other supplies I have owned. After looking at the unit and the specs closer, I realized it has 4 separate power rails for the 12 volt alone.. I can clearly see the cheaper 550watt (diablotek) unit only has one 12volt rail. Maybe on a good day the 550 watt unit could actually peak at 550watts for an instant, but it certainly cant sustain it. The Rosewill unit costed 130 bucks, but I believe it was well worth the money. Moral of the story, take the time to learn about the specs on everything you buy, including power supplies.

Very true PSU's are vastly underrated and having a good one is about as important as having a CPU

The other thing to remember that PSUs are a Goldmine for the manufacturers. So high price is not always a sign of high quality.

Always check the specifications supplied and then verify if you are able through the review sites. Spend well and spend wisely. *nods*

It sure could cost over 100+ to build a decent PSU if you etched your own board and bought the parts yourself but those job shops in china make those units for literally a handful of dollars.

a 450 watt is not going to cost you much more but will have the power to provide a stable output and allow a bit for expansion. If you can, always get the best PSU you can afford.

I have a serious problem. My mofo HP a6110n wont let me upgrade psu because when I try to change to a NuPower 380W, the monitor reads no signal. What would be a compatible model with a decent wattage?

hi im still a newbie so hope im posting in the right place. i have a psu problem, it is a Atx 500w-PIV and was working fine up untill yday when i tried to boot a new self built system. well i say new ive had most of the parts for ages and have bin stuggling to get the bucks for the rest of em lol. the mobo is a dfi lanparty nf4 sli dr wich ive heard are fussy with psu's. anysways i got it all to gether tried to boot and i couldnt get past the post. i read sumwhere about switching the psu switch from 230v to 115v which i did. when i powered up, pop a light came out the psu and it will no longer turn on, but the light is still on at the bk so i am guessin its a fuse of somthing simple. i know it is dangerous to open one but am wondering if there might be a way to test it in case it might be somthing simlple and save me some bucks which i do not have. ive since tried another power supply of 300w but obviously this is not enough to power the rig as i can now make it all the way to the windows logo then a blue error screen flashes so fast i cant read it and the computer restarts. im sure if i could get my 500w psu to work i could finnally see my pc in working order and start digging around my mobo bios tweaking my system hip hip hurray.

Never flip the switch to the other power rating, since it's meant for areas that have 110-115V as the mains voltage. You've probably fried your PSU and damaged other components in the process.
Also, please add your system specs in your profile so everyone can see what system you are having problems with.

You probably have a failing hard drive, not a failing power supply... Place a post for this in "Other Hardware"

Try another brand (350 watt-450 watt) Make sure that you have connected the 4-pin connector near the CPU, if the motherboard has such a power socket

For your system 500W is ok. But remember, in this case more is always better as it makes for a smoother supply and the PSU is less stressed.

A good quality 450-500W PSU will be sufficient. I'd recommend the Corsair 450VX and the Antec EarthWatts EA430 as excellent choices.

My eMachine randomly powers on by itself

I have an eMachine (T3092) and as of late, the system just randomly powers on by itself. I'm not able to get into the BIOS. I've tried to use to function keys (F1 and F2) while the system was booting up. However, it bypass the Post up and boots up to Windows. Please help!!!
