VGA Controller

Found this in archives but it was never answered and I have this exact problem...

---original post---
An error occured during the installation of the device

The required section was not found in the INF

Just un-installed the NForce2 drivers / video drivers and now even in safe mode etc. it gives me the above error when I try and install any kind of graphics card.

Any ideas as to where in the registry it is / was or where I need to remove or add an entry so it knows it has a GFX Controler ?
---end---

I basically have the same problem...I uninstalled my old intel graphics card..its on board so i only disabled it or whatever. Then I got a GeForce FX 5200 and i turned on my comp and it was just a blank screen...I rebooted into safemode and when the plug and play found my FX 5200 it gave me the "The required section was not found in the INF" error like the guy above me... later in that thread he said he found the problem but never stated what he did so.... help would be appreciated...

Thanks,
Andrew
