Opera not as fast as tweaked firefox?
I tried Opera to see if the statments that it is faster than Firefox were true. I've tweaked firefox a bit to get pages to load faster. I like Opera but it can't live up to the speed I'm running firefox at. Are there any reasons for this? Is there a way to get Opera to run as fast as my firefox?

Most of the tweaks applicable to Firefox are also available in Opera too. Anything specific you're looking for?

Opera has pipelining enabled by default
Actually, I don't think it can even be disabled, it just tries to use it each session unless a site fails, in which cases it'll re-try the site without it. |
