Question - OEM bios removal/ finding normal bios.
Hello, I recently purchased a laptop from frys electronics. I am having a hard time finding the normal bios drivers (i figure i will have more configuration options). The bios version i have now is what frys threw on there i guess.
The bios is AMI. I have searched their website. The laptop is running on the VIA chipset. Thanks. Chris |

It is the motherboard that the BIOS depends on. What you have to do is to find the real matherboard manufacturer and get the BIOS from them. Good luck
