Add/Remove programs won't "populate" in XP

I have waited and waited, retried many times. I have Spybot and AdAware...could I have gotten rid of something I shouldn't have. Norton says no virus. Help please.

no idea dude - try running a Restore and see if the list comes up. If it does, then you know it was something that you've deleted.
