Asus A8V Serial driver
This is a new install. Maxtor 80 gig. Diamond plus. Win XP pro. My version requires the 6 floppys to install. I press F6 when prompted to install 3 party driver. No response. Is there another way to get my HDD recognized? It's enabled in the bios. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I'm assuming your board is the non-deluxe version,if that's the case then it's using Via's sata controller.Which means you should be using their driver.So this should be the driver and the instructions to install the drive.http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx...0&SubCatID=143
