got it fixed

just wanted to let all who gave me ideas about my games freezing , i did system restore and it straightened right out, but i still need to know which files you shut down in task manager , still got a full page in there.i messed up a puter one time for deleteing what wasn't suppose to be deleted not again NOW i ask for help. Dad always said your never to old to learn. Thanks E-1

Here's a good guide to setting up XP for better gaming. Also read section on what services (Services Manager) you can safely turn off.

OR you can dwnload a prog. called GameXP and basically does the services thing for you. But I recommend understanding what it does first by reading the guide.
