Fps stuck at 60

I just received a new computer from i buy power with a Geforce GO 6600. When playing counter-strike i am unable to get more then 60 FPS. I have fixed all my rates, and have the latest drivers. FPS should be at a constant 100 fps. Any help will be greatly appreciated thx. "Happy Hoildays" "Merry Christmas".

Why do you want anything above 60fps ? If you have a TFT monitor, chances are the monitor can't even display more then 60FPS.

In any case if you insist, have you disabled vsync ?

because the highest counter strike goes is a 100 fps. Its a weird game and you can really tell the deffernce between 100 fps and 60 fps. Yes i have turned off vsync.
