IBM ThinkPad A20m - No Audio

I have an IBM A20m ThinkPad and the audio has quit on me. Diagnostics lead me to believe the audio chipset, (Crystal Fusion), is defective. Can anyone tell me is this chipset on the motherboard or on the sub card?
 
Even i have the same problem.. somebody please help me...
