vaio laptop

I have a sony laptop and the model is pcg-grt360zg. It has windows xp home. 75 percent of the time it will not turn on at all. I am on it now and the battery is 100 percent charged and the ac power is working fine. The odd thing is that the startup screen is diffrent then it was, so I am trying too get into the bios and can not figure out how to do it. It is not the f3,f8 or esc key. I keep restarting it and guessing keys. Any thought about why it doesn't turn on most of the time and the bios key? It used to have a passwrd to get in and that gone as well. It is really weird.

Update:

F2 is the bios key and the only thing it showed was the password wasn't set. Full anti-virus and spyware scan showed nothing. Are these related problems or two diffrent problems?
