I'd like to know what is the fastest internet connection to have for your home. I currently have Directway. Is Roadrunner or others better.

It depends on where exactly you live.
If you happen to live next door to a major ISP, then you can run a cable there and have a 10 gigabit ethernet connection. If you happen to live in the middle of nowhere then your only option may be satellite (best services go up to several megabits).

RR is way to go
I've had DSL .. ISDN and RoadRunner... RR is the best in my opinion. Very fast and I've rarely if ever had any downtime. And... NO contract
There is a new option around as well... RoadRunner Lite.. it costs 26.95 a month , but is much slower than standard.. however.. for most people its plenty fast and again no contract.. anyone currently on dial up and paying $20 or more should look into this
